# Hurricane Harvey:
August 25th, 2017
Tropical Storm Harvey is expected to bring widespread heavy rain and flooding to southeast Texas starting Friday and continuing through the weekend. Major flooding is possible.
To prepare for inclement weather and flooding, TPI Staffing has prepared the following:
**Inclement Weather Policy:**
TPI Staffing recognizes the fact that inclement weather and other emergencies can affect our client's ability to open for business and our employee’s ability to get to work. The safety of our employees is paramount in any emergency.
Employees are asked to use common sense and make their best assessment of the safety and practicality of the situation. Please use your best judgment in assessing the risk of coming to work and returning home, based on individual circumstances. Those who believe the road conditions from home are dangerous are urged and even expected to stay home to prevent injury. Please contact your TPI Staffing Representative at [281-890-2220](tel:(281)%20890-2220) or Supervisor if you are unable to make it to work.
**Out of Office Communication:**
Continue to check your email and our website for updates. We will send out mass updates to inform you of office closures due to inclement weather. If unsure, contact your Supervisor or a TPI Staffing Representative.
**Questions:**
If you have any questions about TPI Staffing's emergency policies, or unsure if you should report to work, contact [281-890-2220](tel:(281)%20890-2220) or our after-hours line [832-244-7473](tel:(832)%20244-7473).
